Exclamation Insurance experiences in Washington

Insuring an 08 Road King, 08 Fat Bob and 08 Vulcan with two riders (my wife and I) in WA was cheapest through Safeco, particularly using HD Insurance as the broker. I was paying about $1,100 per year for the three.

Progressive was very good also at about $50 more, using First Tech as the broker. Allstate was way off the money at about $400 more.

I recently disposed of the Fat Bob and bought a Kawi ZX14 sport bike (yeah, I know!), which increased my insurance by $500 overall. Progressive was the cheapest with a sport bike in the stable.

I tried Dairyland but their quote was laughable - just a fraction under double that of progressive.

For the lowest rate, always insure with a broker not directly with the underwriter. HD Insurance is actualy pretty good at finding the best underwritter in each state for HD products.
