I bought a 2012 FLHX that had about 7,000 miles on it last year, decided I was going to spend the money and put all thing things on it I've passed up on my other bikes over the years. So I contact Howard about some shocks for my ride, he gave me a complete rundown on all the options for my ride answered all my questions and then some. I placed an order with him purchasing the Ohlins FKC-101's for the front and the #3-#3"s outback, I do not think it's possible to receive custom-built shocks any faster. I see people over the years bitching about Howard's personality, he is from a different era than many of his customers. I found his straight-shooting no Bullshit style of business to be right up my alley, much appreciated and refreshing in this world padded by bullshit and lies.
Anyways I have had the parts for a few weeks, the weather is **** here in West Virginia so I have taken my time installing everything along with several other upgrades. I finally finished up last weekend and yesterday provided a chance to get a little ride in all I can say is I'm thoroughly impressed with the improvement. I haven't even begun to dial them in, all I did set the sag and took off for a ride I imagine there is some improvement left to be had but even if there wasn't I'm fully satisfied!!
