Default Beartooth Rally

Hi All - My 18 yr old son and I are planning to ride to Beartooth Rally just before he reports for active duty with the Army. We couldn't get rooms in Red Lodge and the rooms in Cody are very $$. We are thinking of staying in Meeteetse, WY as there are a couple of places that appear reasonable. Any thoughts on motels or things that we should do or not miss are appreciated. Thanks.

If the rally is in Red Lodge you would be better served to stay in Billings, Mt. instead of Meeteese. Billings is only about 50 miles from Red Lodge and no mountains, curves, etc. Meeteese is at least 90 miles, and depending on which route you take from Cody, you could be in some really big mountains.

Don't miss the ride from Red Lodge to Cody via Beartooth Pass and Chief Joseph Highway. Don't miss the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody. Be sure to eat at Bogart's Pizza in Red Lodge.

Regards,

Bill

Or stay in Laurel at the Yellowstone Crossing, Best Western. Right across from my Chevrolet dealership. Nice place and reasonable prices. I attend the rally and I have never been able to get a room! Camping at the fairground is fun.
