Had rooms at the Airport Wyndham for the 110th and the place sold and closed. Yesterday we found rooms in Germantown at the AmericInn that were somewhat reasonable. Can anyone tell me what that area is like, and what the motel might be like.
This room was 173.00 with no pre pay and no cancellation penalty. Everything else we found was 200+ with all paid up front and no refunds.
Thanks,
Bill

Germantown is a nice little burb northwest of Milwaukee. Your looking at a 35 min ride to the summerfest grounds were the big events are held. It is mostly rural as that town to spread out. I think the AmericInn is right off US45. That road tends to be buzy during rush hours. Stay away from the northern side of Milwaukee (east side of US45 and south of you) other then a nice dealership (Milwaukee HD - 15 min away).
Most AmericInn's are pretty basic, but they are clean. Hope it helps.
