"Must" do events , places around Sturgis
A friend and myself are riding up this year from the DFW area.
We will be staying from july 29-aug11
Just curious what MUST DO / see places , towns , events , places to eat
people would suggest.

Pantyless Wed. It is in Hulett, WY. This event is awesome. It is on Wed of the rally week. Hulett is a little town in WY that you go through on your way to Devils Tower. I believe the bar in town is called Capt Ron's. They hold a event that day called the Ham and Jam. Donation for food and there is plenty of it. I got there in the morning and watched everyone pull in. It is a don't miss event. Then off to Devils Tower. My advise. Don't take the highway to get there from Sturgis. Forgive me I don't remember the routes, but if you get the standard map of Sturgis during the event it shows all the routes. Anyways if you stay off the major highway to WY, the scenery is awesome. On the way back from Devils Tower I took a different route back and went into Sundance, WY. I saw the Burnout Wed event which happens in the late afternoon. Then drove back through the Black Hills to Sturgis. In all it was a Must Do ride with lots of events.

On Monday of the Rally, the Legends Ride is held in Deadwood. Great event for charity. Celebs, food, great ride, great food with some drinks, and price includes a concert back at the Buffalo Chip. Deadwood is a great town with a ton of great shops and food/bar places.
