Looking to add some switches to the FLHTK but I want the switches to look stock. Does anyone know where to find some 2014 looking switches? Looking for the same style as the driving/fog beam switch.
On the left side you already have 2 extra switches in a sealed switch pak. You have 2 choices. A detente button or a momentary button like the CVO uses for the electric locks. Those are the only two available now. They are about $15.00 each. The wire harness comes out under the left side cover. Pull the switch Pak out release the lock tab remove the blank, insert new button assembly. All there is to it. Only draw back is they have 2 amp max rating so if you run anything that needs more current you need to use a relay.

I must not be looking in the right spot. Walk me through as if I am a completely new HD owner. Also, any ideas where to pick up extras if I need them for whatever reason?

Just verified from the dealers, this part is not yet available. Supposed to be available mid April according to three different locations.
Not sure who you checked with, but both myself and HOJones have acquired these and other styles. Harley-Davidson SWITCH ASY,MAINTAINED 71400044 is for the units that look just like your current switch, 71400034 is one that the entire light ICON is centered and lights up when on.
anyone tried wiring the garage door opener to one of the switches? just hate the idea of switching headlites everytime you want door to open.
Yes, I installed a garage door opener using these switches.. You must wire the switch to a relay and wire the garage door opener to the N.O. side of the relay.
You also need the momentary switch for your switch cluster that is H.D. part # 71400035 or 71400036.. Sadly it will have a Lock or Unlock graphic on it
