I'm guessing this might be a good place for my question.
We are leaving from Nevada soon for the Northeast in an RV.
Pretty much have the trip planned and are flexible on the dates. We have researched
the "peak" times for the fall colors in all of the states but do understand that weather
plays a part.
We plan on hitting the UP of Michigan then on to Niagara Falls then on to most if not all
the Northeast states.
Is there any indication that peak time may be earlier or later this year?
Thanks, Steve
Saw your post in PA also. Here, (N Central PA) I'm already seeing a (very) few leaves changing. Peak is usually 2nd week of Oct, but could be a little early this year? Feels like we might be getting colder at night, a little earlier in the year, this year. North of us (in latitude) it's usually later, so PA & Central NY the 1st weekend, and VT & NH the 2nd weekend? I think that could be a pretty safe bet.

Thanks for the reply. So far it sounds like the peak time might be around the "average"
time?
