Solid color or graphics? I just got my bagger repainted with the new bags, fender etc.. I got a good guy to do solid colors, but I would like to find a good air brush guy..
check out these guys...there's a bagger on the forum that got some nice pain work by them and have seen some of their work at shows http://www.apwpaint.com/
Aggressive Paint Works does outstanding work, but for a price. I am in no way bashing them because they are definitely one of the best in the area...but you are gonna pay for it. I got a quote from them for a 2 tone on my bike, no airbrush work...$3,800!! And that was with me breaking down the bike and bringing the parts to them. The guy I went with game me exactly what I was looking for and at almost half that price...all I had to do was drop the bike off to him. He broke it down and put it back together which was helpful beause I know I would have scratched something. The lead painter at APW is known for doing most of Creative Cycles' bikes and is known for his airbrushing...and charges based on what he is capable of, not what the job calls for...if that makes sense.
I've been asking around about someone who could color match the '10 CVO Taquila Sunrise, but everyone is telling me it's not going to be easy. I know that the color they call Taquila Sunrise on the '12 bikes is not the same as the '10 CVO color, but I can't imagine that it would be this hard to find someone to color match. Anyone know of someone that may have done this color before?
