Hey Dirtnap,
Another chick here....you won't be the only one!!
Guys (& gals) can recognize me by the other forum area , I guess I could skip the bandana thing....
We came up here yesterday, just some really light showers earlier this a.m (Saturday). but dry all day. So much for 40% chance of showers! They finally fixed the area up by Ippolito's just up the hill from Meredith Harley. They were doing construction earlier this summer creating a crazy corner and dip in the road. Now it's a nice rotary.
Traffic not too bad, but it's early!!
See you mid-week!
Coming in on Tues from eastern Canada. Would love to meet with people from the forum, will be there at 4:00 looking for the wrist band. See you all then.
Hey Chrome Lady (are you going to be wearing the sockets? ) Also is your bike blue or black?
We will be coming up Friday and leaving Sunday. Hubby already has our number and we will be calling you guys as soon as we get up there.
Walter:
When you settle in, give us a call. We can meet up for dinner or go for a ride. We will be about 2miles from Meredith Harley at a campground on Rt. 25.
Hagar the Horrible Take Rt. 202 Northout of Winchenton,MA It will take you to Rt.106 which leads to Laconia. Great road nice views and the speed limit is 55 mph. It's a longer ride time wise BUT isn't that what it is all about. Rob .....
Do I understand correctly on how we will ID ourselves? A bandana around the left wrist band...any color? I'll be the one with NH License DROOP for a plate
Don't know how the HD forumgroup ride panned out for you guys and gals, but I went to the Gunstock hillclimb wed. It was pretty lame (they changed the location of the hill, and made it less challenging). The weather SUCKED. Cold heavy drizzle most of the day. Went to the Broken Spoke for a beverage, overall not to bad as far as traffic. I sat in traffic for about 20 min. No drizzle later in the afternoon, but still cold, and I was wet, so I also had a miserable ride home. I will totally pass on the hill climb event next year...
