what are the good bike shops/wrenches/aftermarket parts ,etcin the Fredrick-Walkersville area?
Left my ironhead with my son-in-law to use for a while. He only knows of the stealer in the area. The bike hasn't been to dealer since it rode out the show room in 1980 and Irather it never does
I do most of the work it my self and even thoughmy son-in-law ispretty mechanically inclined he's not a wrench by any means. Since i'm in jersey,he'll need to know of a decent shop
Thanksfor any help
There is an indy shop in Mt. Airy called Mt. Airy Motorcycles. They are an authorized HD service center, for all work including warranty work. It is owned by two guys both named Jeff. They were the service manager and parts manager several years ago at Frederick HD. They didn't like all of the politics of working at the stealership and branched out on thier own. They are both really great guys and the shop has a great reputation. They are only about 10-15 miles from Walkersville. I highly recommend them.
