I had somework done there. Mechanic was really good but the guy working the service counter was a tool. He acted like he never heard of the mirror, motor mount or injector TSB. This was last summer BTW.

Having spent my last 2 years of life as a Marine in Quantico, and having them do warrenty work on my bike, I can safely say that they are an ok shop....

Nothing stellar, know 1 of the former techs real well, and he left due to the owners wife imposing her will on the Service Dept.....

I bought my bike from them. Sales guy (Bob) was a real As*. If it wasn't for the sales manager and the finance lady I would have went to ft Washington. The sales guy is no longer employed there. Not sure what happened. I have met the owner he is trying to run a business and make a few dollars. seems more stressed now they are in new building. My sales experience has left a bad taste in my mouth but since sales guy is gone i would try again. Service is ok, had my 1k done there. Had warranty work on another Harley done there and they were pretty quick on getting it done. Use parts dept no problem there. You definitely don't get the warm fuzzy feeling as you do with Waugh or the new whitts in manassas. But there convenient so I keep using them

Bought my Road Glide from them, NEVER AGAIN! When they set up the bike, they failed to secure the windshield properly; my maiden voyage had the windshield coming loose scratching the fairing. Took it back, they wanted to paint my fairing. I guess they failed to realize the bike was brand new and Ihad to demand a new factory painted fairing.
They also installed my stage 1 air breather and download, two weeks later my right pants leg was covered in oil: DUH they failed to properly install the oil breather lines from the head. One bolt was missing and the other was loose.
I am sure you would hear horror stories about most dealers from time to time, they are in the service industry and will not please everyone!!!
But for me, I would not buy a T-Shirt from them.

I've been to East Coast, got my Service Manual there and that is the only experience I've had with them. Small shop and seems too crowded. I use Whitt's in Manassas, Parts guys real helpful and used there service once with no problems.

I've used Patriots for service and accessories. I bought my bike at Whitts. Only because its convenient. But, if you are only wanting scheduled maintenance, I would recommend Barry's Mobile Motorcycle Service (703-593-0264). He's done the scheduled maintenance on two of my bikes (97 Fat Boy and current 06 EGC). Great service. You schedule it and he comes over to your house and works on your bike.

Another place I've used and will recommend is NVCycleWorx, located in Chantilly (close to 28 and 50; 14514 F Lee Rd. Chantilly, VA 20151 (703) 378-0101). I've had work done there a couple of times and have been very impressed with the service and price. They took me in on short notice and did a good job.

What I really liked about both of them is that I am able to watch what they're doing to my bike, actually stand right beside them and watch and maybe even learn a thing or two. Unlike dealers where they take your bike "inside" and you don't see it again until they're done with it.

Again, this is just my opinion. For either place, tell them Tony sent you

I used to live in Fredericksburg and used them a few times. They were okay as far as dealers go. Not the best but far from the worst.

If you are doing non warranty stuff, I'd recommend the indy I used to use for anything I didn't want to tackle. Go see Todd at TwinJuggs located about halfway between Dumfries and F-burg. Their web site is http://www.twinjugs.com

Todd is a great guy and he's a great wrench. He also drag races bikes on the side so he is definitely a skilled mechanic. Heck, Stafford County even sends their cop Harley's to him for all repairs/service. While it's been a few years since I moved, I always found his prices very reasonable for parts/labor.

I bought my 04 Fatboy there and within a week the clutch positioning switch went out and left me on the side of 95 on the HOV lanes. I called Jeff the GM who sold me the bike and I knew they had at least 2-3 trailers at the dealership and told him the bike died and I was stranded on the side of 95 about 15 miles from their shop and he says " What do you want me to do about it? "

Well needless to say after just spending around $25,000 after loading up on accessories I was a little pissed. I had to call HOG and they towed it to East Coast and it was fixed under warranty and that was the last time my bike ever went there for anything. I was in there around the same time as this happend and a guy was in there having a FIT!!!!!!!!! He had just bought a new Ultra the day before and also bought a ball cap and when he got home he noticed the hat was missing the O in Davidson and wanted to exchange it for another one and they refused to do it and he went BALLISTIC!!!!!!!!! they threatened to call the police so he would leave the shop, so he left, but he made sure eveyone there knew what just happened.

I have heard that it is for sale, but whoever bought it would have to do a lot to fix the bad rep that place has.
