hi there , a few of us coming from Canada / Buffalo way - coming down 219 to head east on Route 6 - day 2 destination is Williamsport PA , so do any locals recommend route 6 all the way to Route 15 south down to WIlliamsport or grab 44 east of Coudersport and take that down to Williamsport ? have ridden both roads but its been a few years

 

both are good but I would take 44

 

I would make sure you hit Wellsboro.

Ringer, if you haven't left yet, you should go to Kinzua Bridge. It's a must-stop. Only a few miles on 6, east of 219. I second 44 from Coudersport all the way down to 220 in Jersey Shore. I love that road! Then, 220 into Williamsport. Also some good places on 44 to stop & eat ---- Black Forest Inn, and also Waterville Hotel.

Too funny literally inn Williamsport hotel right now , did that exact run today after we circled Allegheny nationals forest. Took rt666 and 66 over to connect with 6 east

Reviving an old thread but what's a better route down rt 44 from coudersport or a little further west with rt 46 down to 120?
