We got a couple of our guys out there. I'm actually headed there tomorrow morning with truck and trailer to pick one of them up. His fuel pump failed. Now we can give him a never-ending ration of **** for buying a Victory!
Excellent pics thanks for sharing. The pictures with the pollen made me laugh. My dark blue bike looked green there was so much pollen on it this morning.

The pollen was real bad Friday night.... I just got back from Ireland a week ago.... when I saw my bike Saturday morning I thought I was back 🤣
A couple of observations. This was my second time so I only have one other time to compare it to.
1. Friday night was getting pretty entertaining to watch on main street. Saw some wheelies and burn outs. Not a lot of police presence.
2. Saturday night was a whole different ballgame. Police patrols everywhere. Did not see any shenanigans like on Friday. It was boring to watch haha.
3. I swear half the bikes I saw there were roadglides.
4. I was surprised at how many Indian motorcycles I saw.
5. I was there on a 97 GL1500 this time. It was strange to not be at a bike rally on a Harley.
6. As always the roads around Lake George are phenomenal for riding.

Goldwings used to outnumber Harleys at Americade. I havent been in awhile, usually ride over that way during non-Americade times.
I was there for a couple of days. Took demo rides on KTM 890 Adventure R, BMW F850 GSA and a Honda Goldwing Touring DCT. The Goldwing was impressive! Basically, a big sport touring bike that's a technical marvel. I didn't feel comfortable on the KTM. Very high seat height and the bike felt twitchy to me. Probably due to riding a bike with knobby tires on the road. I was much more comfortable on the BMW. Before the demos, I was leading towards a KTM purchase, but now the BMW is in my sights. I actually signed up for a second demo ride on the BMW. The BMW demo ride leader, lead a very fast pace on twisty roads. Much better than the KTM and Honda demo rides.
I enjoy riding around the Lake George/Adirondacks area. On Saturday I rode a killer 300+ mile route through six gaps in Vermont. Awesome!
