Rayne,
Whats New Hope like? I've heard it's anawesome biker town and mobbed with Harleys on the weekends. I was thinking about doing a little overnighter there with the wife.
New hope is a cool little town right across the west central jersey border...and yeah..it's full of bikers on weekends. Me and my buddy ride there almost every weekend during the summer, and it's a show every time. I'm about 40 minutes east of New Hope, and the ride out is beautiful. Not only that, but the ride out of New Hope (north or south) along the delaware is a great trip...all the way up to the delaware water gap and beyond. I haven't gone much farther south than washington crossing.
Of course....I guess I have to mention that despite being a cool place to go for bikers...you might want to head out of dodge at night....anyone care to explain to bill

Todd
sure, i'll explain

umm, bill, new hope is great, some great bed and breakfasts inthe area too for you and the LADY
one small prob with new hope, is there is a slight homosexual problem, if its a problem for you
they are there, ive never had nothing but good time there, but it seems to be more abundant in the evening
i dont pay much attention to it, cuz it dont bother me much. no one has ever gotten out of line with me or any of my budz,
so hey, we do our thing, they go theirs, and far as i know, its kinda un written law, that everyone is kewl.
i kinda like the girls who try the shock thing by making out in public, but hey, we all got our thing i guess.

i figure it this way, thruout life, if your comfortable with your sexuality, you should not be scared.
i, for one am a true lesibian, cuz i'll never, EVER service a man, and i sure do like the taste of a woman

now, back to reality, lol
yea, the sawmill slice does still rock. always tastee, always cheap
and the beers always cold
i live less then 10 min from there, so were there alot
nice since they re done the joint

i started puttin the new V&H big shot duals on this weekend
i got to replace the speed sensor as well, seems to be most of the probs i been havin

this whole thred has me salivating for the warm weather to come back,
and the desire to meet some new peeps

enjoy the snow gurlz and boyz

Rayne,
The drive-in theater is still there, and as of last summer still in business. A bit of Americana in our own back yard. While your up there you should check out Sugarloaf. Its a bunch of little roadside cottages that over the years evolved into an artist colony. They have a pretty cool leather shop, a log cabin type bar/resturaunt( The Barnsider) that caters to bikers (even bike size painted parking spaces), and some other cool stuff. A neat way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Rayne,
Sounds good to me. We can do the full Jersey tour. I know what you mean about your back. I just changed my bars, which made a huge difference in my back. Now I'm looking at doing either a Corbin or Mustang seat with drivers backrest for the all day rides. I guess if I go to New Hope it's a good idea to where a pair of jeans under my chaps?

lol
like i said bud, dont sweat the "jeans" under the chaps, although, you will have a nice "fan" club if you leave the jeans home! lol
thay are harmless, and usually quite cordial. again, there is an unwritten law i think, and it is all harmonious.

i have not yet looked at the mustang seats, but i gotta do something. i cancelled daytona this year becuz of the pain, and i refuse
to start doing the pain killer thing. i have seen too many good friends get WAY too messed up on that ****, and i would never ride altered. a cpl of cold ones is one thing, but drugs and me have a good agreement, NO!

anyhoo, i am now itching for some warm weather

hey, you or anyone else here into Weird NJ? magazine?
that is a tour that would be fun. a run of a couple or Weird stops?
man, we wear out those magz, and the book is just about dog eared

There were a couple of articles in Weird NJ about the town I'm a cop in. One is a ramp on NJ208(208S @ Ewing Ave) where supposedly a girl had died and if you put your car in nuetral, her ghost is supposed to pull the car backwards up a hill. It's a cool illusion and we've written a sh&*load of careless driving tickets there. The other is about the 'midnight walker' who walks over 208 in the early morning hours. He's a real old dude who was blinded in WWII and his eyes are pure white. He walks at night because he can hear what goes on around him. I have to admit though, the first time I saw him dressed all in black at three AM I got kinda creeped out. I feel bad for the guy. He is a war vet, a hero, and since the article came out he is hassled on a pretty regular basis....not cool.

Hi everyone. Another new NJ Harley owner here. Been riding metrics for 14 years and just picked up an 06 Road King Classic in November. I live in Egg Harbor Township and work in Atlantic City down here in S. Jersey. I grew up in Sparta up there in Sussex County and lived up there until about 1989 when I moved down here. I'm pleased to see so many other Joisiens here. Looking foward to some good weather and hopefully a chance to ride with some of you.
