I do have a second cousin Henry, but he graduated high school on 1974, so it likely wasn't him.

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you guy's.

I'm pretty new here and find myself forgetting to check out other threads besides the Dyna and Sportsters ones.

Gengras was pretty good to me. My salesmen's name was Paul. He’s a good guy. I bought a 06 Street Bob and a 06 Sportster L from him. I knew upfront that Gengras was not going to be the cheapest however they are locally convenient for me. I could have gone to either of the TSI dealers but I work in Bloomfield so dropping it off or picking it up on the way to or from work is important to me. Hopefully I won’t be doing that to much. Gengras did take a few hundred off each bike because I was getting two at the same time and the service department seems really good. Two things I didn’t know when purchasing the bikes from Gengras is that every bike they sell comes with the factory alarm system. They also Dyno each bike for you as well when you do the stage 1 kits. Just some FYI for you guys if your looking to buy this year. If you need information or advice on aftermarket products talk to Lance. He helped me out the most. He’s honest and will give you good advice even if it means no sale to them. Selling Ducatti should be interesting for them. That’s a hole different animal and different clientele too.

OK, enough of the Gengras infomercial.

I just sold my wickedly, jacked up, Yamaha Warrior for this Street Bob. I know it’s not fair to compare these two but you can’t help but do it anyway. I am very very impressed with how the Bob handles. Much better than I thought and it feels very solid. Performance is lacking but a few thousand into the motor will cure that.

My wife sold her V-STAR 650 for the Sporty. The Sporty seems like a great bike for the price. I think I dig it as much as she does. She won’t let me ride it yet. I don’t blame her. We haven't been able to do anything but ride around the block a few times. A total of 28 miles in two weeks. This Sunday looks like it might get to 40.

One of these days I’ll figure out how to post some pictures.

Now who wants to ride?

Cabo,congrats on your purchases!!
As for the aftermarket parts;I`m in no ways bashing Gengras, but get the part #`s from them, and go on MandM cycles.com.You`ll save bundles!!Quick example:Gengras wanted $699 for V&H Big Radius pipes for our Softail.Got`em from M&M for $518 shipped to my door.
As soon as I get my parts back from the chromer,I`ll be ready to ride!!!!!!!!!

No, no, no, not more snow! I haven't riden since October. I know spring is only a few weeks away, and spring is coming, but I never realized how long winter was untill I bought my harley.

I like gengra's service dept, took good care of my bike. I went in this last weekend to pick up a service manual and mentioned the word Ducatti. The parts guy looked at me like I was growing a second head. He didn't say anything, but it looked like he didn't know what I was talking about. Genras has many car dealerships, i'm wondering if they are going to sell these bikes at a different location. The store is big, but it's mostly accessories, the showroom floor is not to big. I definatly think it would take away from the atmosphere if they sold them there.
Just my opinion.

Come on warm weather!

I live in Windsor, last summer I was shopping for a bike. I was going to buy from Gengres. But after shopping around his discounted price was 700.00 more than TSI or Tibby's. So I bought my bike from TSI. It's more covenent for me to go to Gengres so I been buy my parts from Gengras. they have a real good parts and accesery dept. they all ways seen to have everything I want and they don't push only harley stuff.
