just got the weirdnj book. it looks like some interesting reading. the only problem is they don't tell you exactly where things are. it give a general area, like the town or a street. it would make things a lot easier if they gave an adress , or be a little more specific

What also makes it tough is some of the stuff in thee only happens at specific times of day, Like the guy from West Paterson who every morning sits in a lawn chair in front of his house and waves at every single car that goes by. Been doin it for years. Everybody waves back causing a traffic jam. Now you'd hate to miss that one!

I was trying to think of another good ride. Have any of you guys ever been up to O.C.C.? Took a ride up there with my wife because I heard they had a bunch of nice bikes in the store. Ended up at the shop by accident, Mapquest gave me the wrong location. It was pretty cool because there were only like six people there and I happened to be there when Paul Sr., Jr., and Vinny were there. Nice guys, let us into the shop, talked for about 45 minutes. Anyway, the ride up there, if you take the backroads, takes you through some beautiful country loaded with horse farms and the such. It's a little over a 1 hr. ride from North Jersey. The highways are a smooth ride too, not too crowded and only two lanes. The store, where they got about 8-10 bikes on display, is about 1-2 miles from the shop.

tb, they used to put locations in the mag, people being what they are, ruined it, by being d**ks, trespassin and stuff. they explain that in the front of the book.
its not hard to find some of the stuff. use google, google maps and just plain old internet work. finding the sites are half the fun

give you an example.
there is a midget family in bricktown
they are in a very populated area, and really got tiny houses. been there for years.
well, people make such of a point of being d**ks, they had install secruity cams and have pressed charges many times.
they are real nice people, just trying to live. my friend used to live across the street, so we used to see um alot, and they are
real kewl. but, people would come by, all hours, yelin, throwin trash on thier lawn. that aint right

also, can you imagine the traffic that book would generate at these sites?
just like us, we just wanna go have a look, and make a ride outa it, but alot of peeps aint kewl like that.

o, and im definetly in for a run to the o.c.c

Hey since your from NJ, I am looking for the best HD Dealer to take a ride to on a Saturday in like central and northern NJ, our little group likes to take rides and visit larger dealerships and newer dealerships, if ya have any ideas it would be great, we'd probably be coming over rt 78 or Rt 22 into NJ.

If you're crossing into Jersey using 78 or 22, Williams HD is only about 15 miles in on 22 in Lebanon. It's a new building and they have a lot of of goodies there. Chances are, you'd even run into me, cause I'm there pretty much every weekend

If your in Northern Jersey check out Kosco HD on Rt. 23 South in Butler. (80 west to 23 N, u-turn in Butler). They just quadrupled the size of it. It's not quite done yet, I would call before you go, but it should be by springtime. 2 stories of goodies.
