I picked up a motorcycle mag and in the events area it has all these "poker runs".....what are they really? What do you do? Can anyone explain it to me? thanks
Pre-Reg. or sign up at a starting point. They give you a route sheet with stops along the way. At each stop, you draw a playing cardand they mark yourtally card with what you got. At the end, there is usually a bbq/party where they announce the best hand(s) and hand out prizes. It's a good timebecause you ride at your own pace.
We did one last year with the Red Knights for the "Fallen Fire Fighters Fund" and we must have ended up with close to 300 bikes...they did it up right..pig roast and other grub all included in the $20 bucks...do it again in a heart beat !
This one's a good one. My buddy Glenn(20Nighttrain03) won it last year. 200 bucks! I won a HD licence plate I now keep in the back window of my car.
