So, my mom is having eye surgery in a week, she lives in Maine and i'm going up to stay with her a few days (16th-18th) while she is recovering. Unfortunatly I will need to drive up in the cage. Bike week will be starting but no train shuttle service in the first few days. I want to drive down there for an afternoon, but where can I park a car?
I don't really care about paying to park,I just don't want to hike 5 miles to get there.
I believe there is a Shuttle Bus that runs from Merideth HD area to
Fun Spot area & Weirs area. I think it may be even free but not
sure if it is or when it runs. You can park even at Fun Spot and
get the shuttle. YOu might find some info here ....
If you are looking to park your car in the beginning of the week, you will have no problem. Keep in mind that at the end of the week, more bikes start rolling in, and they shut down the bridge at Weirs Beach to cars (it's only open to bikes).
Thanks for the responces guys. I will more than likely be stopping by there on tuesday mourning. I've been up there before on a bike (rained ike hell of course) but it was on a Saturday and it was packed trying to ride in. Glad to hear It won't be so crazy early in the week.
