Long Island is getting damn small and boring. How many times can you ride to Claudios, Port Jeff or Bayveiw? Take the ferry and ride. A good day trip is going over to Orient and riding to Newport Rhode Island. If you insist on staying on the Island then I would reccommend riding out to Greenport (Sound Ave) and take the Shelter Island ferry. Cross Shelter Island over to the south fork ferry and then head over to Dune Road and come back west from there.
