After warning some of my brothers about New Hope they went anyway this weekend... 6 were pulled over 1 got a ticket for his pipes.. Point is he was .5 DBs over the limit and got a $300.00 ticket. He needs a tune up actually which would have made him pass..but .5 over and $300.00...WTF.. He is one of the older members and was not revving his motor and always follows the law. He needed to have his choke opened a little as he kept stalling that morning on the way. He tried to talk to the officer and show him the issue that just happened but he didn’t want to hear it. Even after he closed his choke and the DB meter showed he passed he went off of the first reading. SO please don’t say there are no issues with the local LEO there. I don’t have anything against LEO's and we actually have LEO's in our club who were there and just shaking there heads even after they showed there badges.
So... If you even think that your pipes won’t pass...don’t go. Don’t encourage your friends to go... if they get a ticket I'm sure they won’t be happy with you when you have been warned.

That just sucks, but doesn't surprise me one bit. Bottom line NEW HOPE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!
I thought that they cannot give a ticket to people who live in nj only penn. Non residents are not included in this. Just like having tinted windows and being registered in florida and driving in nj same situation

No. If I went to Daytona I could get a ticket for APES. It does not matter if your bike is registered in another state. You have to follow the laws of the state you are in.
Example...I live in PA where we have no helmet laws. That does not permit me to ride in NJ with out a helmet
Like I said earlier you guys should check out St. Peters Villiage right outside Morgantown, PA. It is similar to New Hope but alot smaller and more biker friendly, very scenic along the way too.
Ride up to northern Jersey! Bars are ALL Biker friendly, and the cops will NOT break your balz unless your absolutely pickled. Plenty of great roads to cruise on too. Your in NY in 2 minutes, PA in 15 minutes, all which have scenic area's and great places to drink and eat!
Screw NEW HOPE! A bunch of yuppy a-holes who can keep their little quaint area to themselves!
So does this mean that I cannot drive in nj with tinted windows if my car is reg in florida you are concisdered just passing through. We need some police hear to tell us the laws. Maybe people don"t know this and instead just pay the ticket instead of going back there to go to court.
