I hope all your club members are running "stock Pipes"....

I would suggest you pick a different route!!

You need quiet pipes. Don't show off. Don't have a tire even barely touching the line when you park. Then just hope it is a lucky day for all of you.

I live 10 miles from New Hope and we used to go all the time to sit outside, have a beer and watch people/bikes. We now call the place "no Hope". Not worth the chance for getting hassled...there are so many nice places to ride around Bucks County.

Stay away, far away, very far away, should be called "No Hope". A bunch of us HOG Members rode thru there on the way to Mercer Museum in PA some wanted to stop, me I rode thru that town without even putting my foot down to stop. As I was riding thru there on the way home I saw a cop looking around at the bikes that were parked in the streets that sent a chill up my spine, and from what Ive read on the forum, Im sure some of em got tickets. Some of us wanted to stop and eat lunch, but me I rode straight into NJ to eat, where my money is always appreciated!! and my bike is totally stock no pipes!! Just my 2 cents, LOL. BV

Take a portion of your life’s savings and put it aside for the tickets you may get. Before they were bitching about more then one bike in a parking spot because they were not getting the money for each bike… Well after they changed that then realized that they did not have enough spaces for the cagers who cried. So they went back to allowing more then one bike in a stall.

Has anyone noticed the new black top spot right before you get into town? Built just as an area to stop bikes as the leave and come into town... I just know all of this because my Uncle lives in No Hope…

You guys should ride to a place called St. Peters Village right outside of Morgantown, PA. It is kind of like New Hope but alot smaller and less cops to harrass you.

My wife and didn't have a bad experience in New Hope, we actually found it to be alright. We went on a Saturday recently after visiting Washington's Crossing. There were plenty of bikes, but we found parking for both of our bikes pretty quickly. I ride a Softail with S&S slip-ons, she rides a Honda Shadow 1100 with V&H Classics. We didn't have any problems with the local authorities, and it did not appear anyone else did either. They do have a pamphlet that outlines all of the local laws, including pipe decibels, parking, etc. I think that if you ride in without gunning it and drawing unnecessary attention to yourself, and if you don't park over the line when you back in to your space you should be ok.
As far as a place to visit, it was ok. It seemed kind of like a hillbilly Greenwich Village...Have fun!
