It's been raining steadily here since last night, and according to the forecast will be raining straight through to Sunday. Not too many weekends left before winter to lose one to the friggin rain.

Yeah, and theres some serious fog in parts of the state this mourning also. If it weren't for the bad visability, meaning spray from other vehicles, I wouldn't mind riding in the rain so much. But hey, cars have a hard enough time seeing us on a clear day, let alone a crappy one. I'll use my truck this weekend.
I have rain gear in my saddlebag at all times. The first trip I made ten years ago when I got my first bike with saddlebags was to the store for a rainsuit. After all of those years of getting caught in the rain with nothing, it was the first thing I thought of when I suddenly had some storage capability.
However, I only use the rain gear when I need to (and I've needed to use it an awful lot this year); I'm not about to leave the house just to cruise around for the day if it's pouring out. It detracts more than a little from the enjoyment of the ride.
Sun was out today, Got me a tank full of riding in before I had to work. Left work and took the long way home, It's definitely cooling down allot now. Man and I gonna Jones this winter.......
