MARYLAND PGR Riders
To all Maryland Patriot Guard Riders,
We have a service member on the watch list. Staff Sgt. Robert Hernandez. I have not been successful in making contact with the CAO as yet. I will try again this morning. As soon as I have any information I will post it to the forum. I would ask you to stand by, please be prepared to change you weekend plans if possible. There will probably be little time for planning this mission. Right now I don't know if SSgt Hernandez will be interred here or in Puerto Rico. I'm sure that the PG County PD and several other PD's will have a memorial for him. Our goal is to at least be part of that memorial.
Richard Beckwell will be the Ride Captain for this mission. He is also going to fill in for me as I cannot change my plans for this weekend. I will be out of the state. Please monitor the forum. We will post all the information as we get it. Try to keep emails to Rich and I to a minimum as we will be very busy setting up the mission. By all means though, if you have a problem or need an answer, then write us. After Thursday afternoon, I will be unavailable.
For those of you that know me, I will miss you. For those of you that have yet to ride on a mission, get ready to explode with a great sense of patriotism. You will never feel more or understand better what it means to be an American. God bless you all and have a safe ride.
