Washington DC area riders
On the 29th of April, the WBC is scheduled to demonstrate at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md. In my opinion those men and women that are stationed there or are patients there do not need to be harassed by them. Therefore, I am calling for a special mission.
This mission will be twofold. First, we will establish a flag wall to block the WBC. Second, we will visit the wounded service members at the hospital.
At this time, I am still working on making contact with the appropriate LEO's and the Hospital PAO. The only detail I have at this time is the WBC is scheduled to be there from 1230-1330. Richard Beckwell has stepped up to Ride Captain this one. All other Ride Captains, plan your routes to include pick-up points. Our final rally point is TBD at this time but will be within a mile of the hospital. I have requested that the LEO provide escort for us to enter the final parking area. I hope to make this mission as successful as our mission for LCpl Snyder.
