pjbolo, thanks for hooking me up with a bud I haven't seen or heard from in 30+ yrs, called him today. It was great to catch up. I've been to laconia the last two yrs, as has he and his buds, I wonder how many times we may have passed each other cruising Wiers beach, or the highways?? LOL.
I'm gonna really try to make Laconia again this yr, if time/budget/family allow, if I do, we'll hook up.
I'm building a new engine for my '07 RoadGlide and will be ready to ride once the weather breaks. My GF has PMS (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome) and can't wait to ride her new Deluxe that we bought her late last season.
We're in Littleton, MA and generally go North and West on our weekend rides. We enjoy taking various routes out to the Monadnock Valley / Keene, NH area. We also enjoy riding along the Maine Coast but the traffic can be a bit tough at times. Western, MA is also very nice, the Berkshires and then NW to Lake George.
We're looking for new friends to ride with since moving back from Ohio two years ago.
We are at the Pepperell/Townsend line on R.119 " The Gateway to the Monadnocks "
8,000+ miles a year on roads North of Rt.2 to Rt.89 in NH and West of Rt.3 to the VT border.
There ain't no Route number (ie ... Rt.202, Rt.10, Rt.101 ..etc, etc ...) that we don't
ride on. Know them all like the back of my hand. Great riding in the Manadnock area
because of hardly any traffic. When I tell people I can ride Rt.119 to VT from my house
(about 60 miles) and only hit 3 traffic lights they are amazed. When the sunshine is longer
we have even shot up to Rt.101 in Milford and rip across all the way to Keene and
back after work. It is about a 90 mile loop and on the return we sometimes stop at
Kimball's in Jaffery.
Rob ....
