I don't know about north of me. But I wish we would just get snow, I am sick of the snow and then freezing rain on top of the snow. That is one pain in the a$$. As far as normal, here in southcentral PA I feel our snow totals are less, but have been getting alot more sleet and freezing rain. The last major snow storm I can remember was the President's Day storm in 03.

This has been a normal winter for us so far, not like when I was a kid and we would get snow starting in November and get 6-7 feet before spring. School never got cancelled unless we got over a foot before the plows got going, walked to school in 6"-8" of snow more than once.

Here in CT the snowfall has been about average. We had some unusually cold weather in November and early December, but other than that it has just been another average New England winter. My bike hasn't been out since the middle of November.
