NY to Salt lake for speed week 8/20-9/20 2014.
Got 2 participants so far. NY to Utah (Bonneville Salt Flats) for speed week Sept 6-9 2014. Willing/prefer to take a passenger with rear seat experience. Looking for other riders as well. Motels at night (hot showers a must) 250 to 300 miles a day average in the saddle. Not a camping trip! Total time NY-UT- NY, about 4 weeks.Total distance about 6000 miles. Depart August 20th back to NYC September 20. All approximate dates. If you have time restraints this ride isn't for you. We ride in fair weather, honker down in foul. Diners Driver ins and Dives,for breakfast and lunch / Road food. Sit down dinners. If it looks interesting we gonna stop and see it. This is a chance to see AMERICA. THIS IS A BUCKET LIST TRIP. You will need more time than money and a relaxed attitude. My ride/ bike is a 2008 Road king classic. Real comfortable ride. If this sounds good to you and have interest. Participant and passengers need a meet and greet so no one get stuck with a travel companion off the crazy train. There are 2 companion slots open at this time. Shoot me an email.
