I have an oil leak somewhere in my 09 FLHP road king towards the front of the bike. It's traveling so it's hard to find. It might be coming from the oil filter or somewhere in that general area.
It leaked all over my crank sensor/auto-tuner cables that I have near the oil cooler fastened to the chassis. There is a lot of gunk all over the cables and the tuner is showing a bad connection. I want to give the bike a good cleaning to help track down the leak.
What kind of degreaser can I use that won't cause problems with rubber, plastic or electrical parts?
i wanted to see how good simple was, so i soaked an engine block with it to get the grease off... what i found out was, it does work, keep it wet and let it work then hose it off... if you need to do it again then do it again... it wont hurt your connections or the wires
