The oil i used had a picture of a metric cruiser on it...now my exhaust smells like burning rice. Should I change it or just add soy sauce? Jk...op...its oil...its better than no oil. I use motorcycle specific oils made for each of the 3 holes and change them more frequently than the manual calls for...its my money and my bike so thats what makes me feel good. Winter is here early.

The reason they only recommend diesel rated oil as an alternate oil is because they know most people will not be able to find it in the correct grade.

Any major brand 20w50 conventional will give the engine all the protection it needs.

The rest is just oil analysis paralysis.
