Reading the FAQs at the bottom of the page suggests the motorcycle oil doesn't have friction modifiers like passenger car oils stating it is good for wet clutches. So that is 2 holes taken care of.
And this statement - In general, Mobil 1 motorcycle oils have additive packages formulated for use in both motorcycle engine and transmission operation. Means it is good for the third.
It may suggest that but that is incorrect. Boron and molybdenum are both anti-wear/friction modifiers. In the UOA below, it shows 81 ppm of moly and 193 ppm of boron in Mobil 1 V-Twin.
I have been using Mobil 1 20W50 full synthetic V-Twin motorcycle oil for all three holes. Today, I checked the Walmart website, and it tells me that Mobil 1 is not compatible for my 2000 Heritage Springer. It is also not compatible with my 2006 Heritage. What changed, if anything?
Just to be specific, Does the website say Mobil 1, or Mobil 1 20W50 full synthetic V-Twin is not compatible?
