Should I go for 20w60 if it's hot as hell?

Oils are a dark science, fueled I suspect largely by marketing. All you can do is try it and see what happens. If others over there are using it without problems, it is probably ok. Up to you. I prefer to stick with what the factory manual says and what the oil manufacturer says. They probably know more about it than I do.

Pretty sure he had the engine in mind with this thread, but who knows? Maybe the primary was his major concern.
