Default oil flow question

Hi,
Manual says evos are gravity fed to oil supply side of pump, how does oil gravity feed on sump
below trans?Just wondering

Substitute gravity with suction, just like a typical wet sump system.

Hi Ron, thanks for the reply i was thinking that, but Manual says evos are gravity fed to oil supply side of pump? i guess the manual in not always correct

Not sure about your first question. To me , you were asking about two different sumps. Evo is gravity feed to the pump inlet. This is known as a dry sump system (seperate tank). Sumps that are below the pump use suction (not gravity)to prime the pump, as in the A motors or your car.
