Default Dummy Light

I need to see if anyone out there has had a similar problem that can point me in the right direction.

Bike- 03 Ultra Classic, Stage I 88", Python Slips, Amsoil 20w50, 31K

After running the highway cruising @ 80-85mph for a good 45 minutes, I come to a stop light and my idle drops to 6-700rpm(norm is 1000), the oil pressure gauge is at around 0-5psi and the dummy light comes on, if i burp the throttle psi jumps to 20-30, light obviously goes off. This has done it twice to me on separate occasions and after letting the bike cool for 15-20 minutes she idles at norm and the oil pressure is back to 10-20(30-50 when throttled up).
When I changed the oil I didn't see any orange shavings form the tensioners.
This has got me puzzled and concerned, any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to find out why the idle is going so low.... could be a faulty TPS, IAC, loose throttle plate stop, broken throttle shaft, etc....

Thanks, it only idles low after running at higher speeds for sustained periods, normal riding(stop light, short freeway) it idles fine. I've ridden 2+ hours with an average speed around 55 and it never showed signs of this problem. Please correct me if I am misled but shouldn't it always drop if it had a problem with the TPS, IAC etc.. Thanks again

The common factor is the huge difference in engine loads, from highway to a stop....

If it does it ALWAYS after sustained highway speeds, your IAC could be at fault, or the MAP sensor is amiss.... Even the ET sensor could be giving false data....
