How do you know that Citgo makes Syn3? (I don`t buy any lubes at the dealer, just parts).
EDIT: just found an MSDS sheet online that does indeed say it is made by Citgo...
Time to write a letter to the MoCo...
I'm not even sure CITGO AKA Hugo makes their own grp IV (PAO full synthetic) products. That would lead me to suspect that Syn 3 may be a blend and not a full synthetic- unlike Mobil 1 or Amsoil for example.

If you look under the 'what oil do you use' heading, you'll find syn III is the third most popular oil used by members here. While that doesn't represent every Harley owner in the world, but you can imagine guys that bring their bikes to the dealer for oil changes and say put synthetic in it, thats mostly what they use. I don't think they will be getting rid of syn III any time soon.,,
No I do not use Citco gas either. I do the best I can to avoid buying from his type
And in my home even my coffee is made in the USA I have a bun. And every product used to build my house was USA made I made darn sure of it or sub contractor was gone. I do my part
I do my part as well. I drive a chevy truck that was made in canada. If you look under the seat of your harley you will see the words made in china on some parts. The best we can do is support American companies. God Bless The USA!

Surely you jest? Citgo does not make Amsoil products.
Citgo is a Venuzualen company. Venuzuala is "owned" by Hugo Chavez. His rhetoric and anti American sentiment lead most of us to dislike him and not support Citgo.
