Default End of Syn 3?

Overheard the owner mention something about Syn 3 to the parts dep't head, and it sounded like HD may be dropping it.

Anyone else heard about this?

as long the moco is making money from it, it will continue to be marketed. simple as that.

Nope - maybe they said..."I wish HD would stop making us sell this crappy oil."

Syn3 is not a bad oil it is a very good oil for an engine. The real issue and it is the same with all 20/50 is using it in all 3 holes . Bad idea for any oil.
SYN 3 was attack and the reason I would never use it because of where it comes from. Hugo oil.
That was what started the whole thing then some how it got off on to it some how being a bad oil.
I know a few that have run it for more miles than most will ride in a life time.
But as long as HUGO makes it no madder how good not with my money.

How do you know that Citgo makes Syn3? (I don`t buy any lubes at the dealer, just parts).

EDIT: just found an MSDS sheet online that does indeed say it is made by Citgo...

Time to write a letter to the MoCo...

I guess the guys who think it's wrong to use syn3, have no problem with using gasoline from gas stations where they have no idea where it originally came from?

No I do not use Citco gas either. I do the best I can to avoid buying from his type
And in my home even my coffee is made in the USA I have a bun. And every product used to build my house was USA made I made darn sure of it or sub contractor was gone. I do my part

Don't buy gas from 7-11, it's Citgo.
