Don't listen to this dealer - HD crap can do same damage (as with any oil). Run what you feel is best & don't sweat the small stuff (like another oil thread).

I ride a big water cooled bike and it does put off a ton of heat but I don't feel it. I ride in short pants during the hot Tucson summer and the bike heat is negligible. The HD, on the other hand, is nearly unbearable in the same conditions.

Amsoil is available at my HD dealer in Tucson.

Amsoil good, Mobile good, Valvoline Good, HD Good, Citgo good, Shell good, etc, etc people with negative opinions on oil =bad.

Use the type your supposed too and change on time or before. As far as boutique oils, Amsoil has proven themselves over and over, time and again.

But what do I know, I use $14. a gallon Mystik JT8 semi syn diesel oil.
