"hey guys, not sure if you've ever heard of amsoil but I used it in my 1000 mile service yesterday (all 3 holes). Wow what a difference. Bike runs cooler and shift so smooth. I love it. Never knew my Harley could run so smooth. Pm me for a link and discount"
Stuff like that isn't traditional marketing. It's targeting people too stupid to understand it. I come here for advice and opinions by Harley riders and wrenchers, Not to read advertisements disguised as posts. I'll never buy because of that.
And you, in turn, come on here to promote and sell it. It's shameful really.
You know sir you need to get over yourself, you basically openned this thread and seem to be all by yourself in your complaint.
How about this you just go around anywhere you see Amsoil and let them run their business like this great country America has let any one else run their business which is however they want.
Geez I don't get it why people rant and rant like they would change any part of the process ny ranting

Did I try to sell you any?? I became a dealer so I could purchase it at below retail cost. Made perfect sense to me to become a dealer so I could save money on it since it's my preferred oil. The cost difference between my price and the retail price is %25.

Sir,honestly I don't like your patronizing manners. If what the guy says about your subtle ways of promoting your product (no matter how good it might be) is true, then I must agree with him and steer clear of it.Other vendors who advertise on the Forum (Fuelmoto,ProPad,NoMoreFriedThighs,EZUp,Ricor,J&P etc.)have a much more professional approach in order to sell their products without having to resort to such practices......and they've been getting my business!
P.S. Pushing the patriotic button ,....this great country America..., shows naivete' on your part and doesn't work.
Well...at least Amsoil picked the right logo colors for our great nation...
Give them some credit, but the fluids are good too...
Hey,I don't need some oil seller to remind me about the greatness of our Nation, which was founded on moral and ethical principles and NOT on deceit.Their oils might be good(I'm not a chemical engineer to dispute that) but I'm happy with the Extra Virgin Olive Oil that I'm using now (in all 3 holes)!
I forgot about the patriotic heart strings the Amsoil posters use. I've a few, "i like Amsoil. It's made right here in the good ole USA". Everything about thier marketing is sleazy and offensive.
