Good product, very good others out there as good but there marketing approach has a lot left to be desired. You have to have enough common sense to see through the crap. Find a good dealer if you like there products & buy from them, there out there. Don't care for the mentallity that Amsoil is the only thing in the world that works well & if you don't use it your an idiot that so many have about the product. Like I said it's a good oil & works so if you like it buy it from dealers that market it correctly..

I am not saying syns don't do all people say but other oils work too, with that being said I only use Amsoil gear oils myself & run just plain old HD360 oil in my Harley, Formula + in primary, bike runs good & it's quiet no lifter noise or clutch issues that can be caused by some synthetics. I have seen at my best friends HD motor build shop many HD motors pulled down after 60k to 70k to do an upgrade ridden in hot climates with nothing but a diet of HD360 there hole life that looked just fine..along with other brand oils used that looked good as well & some did not due to abuse. My point other oil products work too, this oil stuff get's out of hand sometimes..

Bill that is true and what anyone should do, buy from a professional person.

It's like everything there are always business people who don't let a good taste to be desired of dealing with again.

I have been doing this for many years and just joined this forum to possibly become a vendor. I will show the products and show testing ect,, and will not try and shove it down your throat. People are smart enough to make decisions. Plus I try and put myself in customers shoes because I am a customer as well.

Just thought as a new member I'd point it out.
You also need to realize that the bad taste you have about the marketing is because of some business owners that sell Amsoil have taken a unique way or advertising.

You will always find someone who gives you what you need and move on without compromising professionalism and customer satisfaction. I myself and my business are hoping to bring this to this very community.

If they got rid of the MLM scheme they could price their product like everyone else and sell it in stores like everyone else.

Good product?
Perhaps, although I've never seen any evidence it's any better than any other name brand synthetic oil, certainly none to support their prices.

Overpriced? Hassle to get? Stupid marketing schemes?
Definitely

Like AMWAY, they'll not be getting any of my money.

so is amsoil worth using over fossil oils? i ran syn3 with no issues, mainly trying to lower engine temps, switched to amsoil and now after about 6 months, am noticing lifter clatter, have been told its the synthetic, too thin and gets squeezed out of the lifters when shut down?? any input?

Did you admit to joining this forum just so you could sell your Amsoil? Looks like that's what you said, to me. Truly don't know why that's allowed on here.

Personally, I think Amsoil's whole marketing scheme stinks, and I'd put Walmart's cheapo brand dino oil in my bike before I bought anything from Amsoil! MLM gimmicks make me wanna throw up.

I've been running this for years, and I get it down the road at AutoZone, $7.99 per quart, on sale at least several times a year! I stock up and I'm good for a couple years.
