will this hurt the clutches in any way or is it safe im running syn 3 in all holes now but om going rightnow to put mob 1 75/ 90 in trans i have enough to do primary too ???????????
I'm not familiar enough with it BUT make sure it is recommended for clutches OR it may cause you to slip. Also, you don't need the expensive stuff in the primary, regular old oil or Ford atf will do.
My 5 speed trans needs just under a quart of fluid and the primary needs a full quart. You'll need almost 2 quarts to fill both holes.
If you are filling the primary for the95" bike in your sig,you might want to stick withHD Formula + in the primary. This may be less likely to cause the clutch to slip than some of the slicker synthetics, although there are a lot of the big motors running their clutches in synthetic oil without problems.

Harley Davidson company use there own specification numbers .
????? , so there are no cross-reference lists
Look up the Valvoline site on the internet ,....you'll find here a lubricant recommandation for all brands and types of motor-cycles ( cars as well ).
For my FLSTC EVO '93 ,...they recommand :
20W50 SL/CF for in the engine.
10W40 SL/CF for in the primary
80W90 GL-4 for in the transmission ( only 75W90 mostly available now ,...I put a little "Winn's" additive to it ,...against the "clunck" in the first gear ( when cold )
From what I've seen I doubt if it would cause any problems with your clutch pack.
Not sureif it has a JASO-MA rating like the regular Mobil 1 20W-50 V-Twin fluid (no added friction modifiers), but I know some Sportster owners that have used it for 50,000+ miles in the shared primary/trannywithout problems.
