Im going to put some time and thought into whether or not riding is still part of my future? My thought is going taller on my bars so I can get more upright? At 511 16s have always felt good on other peoples rides, Im using 10s now and still feel like I gotta reach down too much.
Any input from other guys with cervical fusion would be appreciated! The thought of hanging up the leather at only 54 years young does not thrill me!
Man, I feel your pain, June, July and August (so far) have been bad months for me health wise. The ONLY one you can reasonably rely on is your Doctor. Take his advise and go from there.
I had some pretty extensive mastoid bone and inner ear surgery the last day of May, 76 days later I'm still not suppose to lift more than 10 pounds and no high power rifle or pistol shooting. My Doctor did clear me to ride the trike so at least I have that.
It may take you months to recover enough to ride again, but don't lose hope.
Doctors advise is #1 but sometimes real world experience gives more reasonable expectations from people that have been through it. My surgeon does not ride and can’t help with handlebar height? LOL
