First I'd like to thank Mike's brother for taking the time to tell the forum...we are very greatful.
Exactly! What an extremely wonderful thing to do. It is very much appreciated.
Please send him love, hugs, kisses, and best wishes for a speedy recovery!
All the best Mike. Hope you're back in the saddle real soon.
You probably don't recall but you were one of the first guys to welcome me here and give me some advice.
I believe the advice was one word and read "Rineharts"
I just made contact with one of the women that works with Mike. She is staying at Mike's house and taking care of his animals while the family is gone.
Mike is in New Hanover right now. I'm not familiar with where that is except that it is about an hour from his home.
Mike had a mild stroke and is still in the Critical Care Unit. He has been upgraded to the Stable Critical Care Unit and is able to communicate with everyone. He knows what is going on and is even joking a little. He has some paralysis on the right side and his speech is slightly slurred at this time. They have not been able to do an MRI yet but one is planned ASAP. The scan they did in the ER showed a blood mass on one side of his brain. All in all right now, things are looking good. I left my name and number so that they could call me with any updates as they get them.
I told the person I talked to to be sure to let Mike and his wife know that we are all thinking of him and wish him well.
