Just got back from riding down to see Mike. He was sitting outside with family members, all truly all American folks. It was a beautiful day. Mike was in good spirits, I rode the bike right by where they were gathered upon leaving, I could tell it did him some good to hear the sound. He was pointing at me and seemed excited. There will be an upcoming benefit ride, details soon.

Good to hear is doing a bit better. Mike should know that I suffered a TBI(traumatic brain injury)last year which is very similar to a stroke, jsut a bit more severe, and I am fine now. I had a miraculous recovery, but send him all my best and know that if I could recover as I have, that he can too. The nurses were telling scootergrrl that I probably would never walkm again, might not talk, they just wern't sure. This was while I was in a coma. When I awoke after 9 days, I just stared at the light fo 2 days, unable to speak, my eyes not tracking. Real quick, I tell this story for others to realize there is hope for them...To make it short, I had to relearn to walk and talk, but after 5 weeks in the hospital, they sent me off to a stroke rehab. Spent 1 day there and headed home. Mike, if you are reading this, or someone is reading it to you, I know you can pull thru this.
