Kinda late, you probl'y ain't there now, but I've done the Gaspe several times. It's a good ride, and I don't speak french, but still like the area. Up that high, they'll try to talk to you, or try to find someone who can.(even if it's a kid maybe 8 years old) Not like the cities!
Every time I go I run into rain,(specially near Cap le Chat) but still good.
Cabot Trail also a good ride!
Forgot to mention, liked the ccw route(Gaspe)better than cw(Cabot Trail).(both areas)Also early June or after 1st week in Sept, less tourists stopped in the middle of the road.
