O.K. Garage in Long Creek, OR.

Long Creek, OR on US-395 with flashing yellow light at intersection.

OR-7 near MM16 some 23 miles west of Sumpter, OR.

Oregon Trail Motel in Baker City, OR

Scotty's Hell's Canyon Outdoor Supply in Oxbow, OR.

Oxbow Bridge at Copperfield Campground, OR.

Baker City Overnight Loop

October 5th and 6th Ride

Was in the high 30s when we meet at the Chevron in Meridian just after 9am. Onwards to Diamond Back Grill (was Starlite Cafe) for huge
omeletts and hot coffee. Continued to Austin Junction for a butt break followed by fuel stops in Prairie City and Long Creek. Middle Fork Rd
from US-395 to OR-7 was a winding 40 mile ride with plenty of level ground cattle guards. Just have to take it a bit easy. Onwards to the
Oregon Trail Motel for night. We walked a couple of blocks to AJs Corner Brick Bar & Grill for burgers and brews. Had a good time.

Next morning at 7am it was 21F yet bright and sunny. We walked across parking lot to Oregon Trail Restaurant for omeletts again with
hot coffee. Didn't split until 11am for the Chevron at Campbell St by I-84 where the Motel 6 and Super 8 are located. After getting gas,
took the next exit to OR-86 and rode non-stop to Scotty's Hells Canyon Outdoor Supply to top off our tanks. They were closed, but a
man came down from house by store and opened up for us. Very cool! Photo ops at Copperfield Campground and Oxbow Bridge
then non-stop to Cambridge for butt break. South to Payette and over to Emmett then back home.

No shortage of cold to warm weather cycles, twisties, secondary roads, sights and whatnot that weekend. This was actually Plan B
as the early winter weather up in MT forced us to bag the Lolo Pass Loop.

Nice area to ride in, looks like your weather is holding out for some nice fall rides.
