Local Seat Guy?

Anyone know a good seat guy in thenorthwest San Fernando Valley (Northridge/Canoga Park, Woodland Hills, etc)? I lost the number guy in Simi that did my Deluxe seat and he was OK but seemed to be in a hurry.

I was going to send my seat to Mean City Cycles but.... besides the point that I would have to have my seat off for about 2 weeks sending to North Carolina from California....I need some alterations to the seat that need my attendance when the seat is being altered.

I need to have the shape of the seat rise in the back altered to stop it from rubbing on my lower back in a certian area. It's not just a simple slice and add of memory foam.

I'm actaully considering trying some other seats too if I can't get this one comfy. Looked at the sundowner the other day...couldn't decide. My Deluxe seat foam started to collapse after about 1 1/2 years last time. Figure if I can do the cheaper fix now I might buy later.

BTW...Lostmy $25 appointment fee with Mean City Cycles...which as an after thought was stupid to pay in the first place. You either want my business or you don't...a week and a half in advance cancellationfor a guy that says he's too busyover bookedseems ample. (but I agreed to it soooooo guess I can't complain too much)

You may want to give this guy a call (Mayer Saddle). Heâ€™s in Ojai. Not Harley specific but it may be worth a look.

THinking I'm just going to get a refit to start....I'll start really looking at seats later...No use wasting the seat I have.

You can try Le Pera in North Hollywood

They told me HD was using them for seat manufacturing but cut them out to reduce cost. Perhaps they can help you with a custom seat for your back.

Shame, you can't get comfy on your bike...

Shame, you can't get comfy on your bike...

They don't make a seat that will take aBackrest and they have not done their 08 seatsyet...they were going to use my bike for thier '08 design butthey waited too long (offered it in Jan)... they would have to hve my bike for at least 3 weeks. Got to be too late when they called I was already booked for rides.

Really just looking for the local guy that does the shave and memory foam thing. Need one extrachange done to the back of the seat. Guess I'll have to find Ramone's Phone number.
