I bought mine at the dealer on sale. I understand Gerbing makes the HD stuff but can't swear to that. I have ridden down to about 40 degreeswith just jacket liner and gloves. I like the jacket because it has jacks at the end of the sleeves for gloves. Have never needed the pants, do just fine in Levis and chaps. I have a rain jacket that stuffs into a pocket and the pants I put in a small stuff sack. Living in Oregon I never go more than 20 miles from home without it. Tell Hubby that I did go to a Honda dealer to buy the rain gear. Just couldn't justify the money my dealer wanted. See you next month.
+1 on all of this. My Gerbings gear kept my warn during 7 hours of nearly constant rain & sub 40 temps. Worth every penny.
I have a good feeling about the weather for this trip, so no worries

CR, I'll have more than a helmet on....nobody wants to see me ride nekkid[:'(]
Haven't used my Widder heat vest/gloves in couple years, but the weather has been crazy and I'm going prepared for the worst. Got my rain gear at local D&B store (Milwaukee brand) and it's wonderful!Gotchumrubbers too (for my boots). Geez, I'd better get busy...only 30 days to pack.
I'm with you on riding nekkid, don't want to be responsible for that many bikes in the ditch. Gettin psyched. Was gonna tell you I registered for PGR but haven't had any calls. Need to spend more time on their website, and less on this one, to learn more. See you in, what, 31 days.

It will give you the Hi and Lo for the day, current weather conditions and a look at a 7 day extended forecast. I have one for home, one for Sacramento since I am down there several times a year, and just put one on for Mt. Shasta. Sure hope it warms up, Hi tomorrow 50 and Lo 28, partly cloudy and NW winds 10-15.
