As of this week the River Road cut off from the 40 to Laughlin is still being worked on. They are widening the road to a four lane, lots of loose gravel!! Alternative routes are the CA 95 to the 163 or going through Needles to the AZ 95 into Bullhead City. Of course the 68 from Kingman is in good shape. Be safe & hope to see you here!

We live in Las Vegas, but can't make the trip this year. I work out of state. My wife was down at the Strip last night and said there were already zillions of bikes ... folks already arriving for Laughlin ... Makes me SICK, I WANT TO BE THERE!

Were heading out in the morning, guess we will stop by Henderson Harley for a couple locking devices for good measure.

Tim: Update on the upcoming weather; tonight's TV forecast mentions a 20 % chance of thunder showers in Arizona, just brushing the Laughlin area for Wed. night and Thursday. Well as a native Nevadan, I can tell you 20 % is not much of a chance! You will never go too far wrong betting against the possibility of rain in Nevada. ............ BC

good weather or bad weather, I am heading out of Santa Barbara, CA at 2pm tomorrow. I am meeting up w/ a couple friends in Victorvillle. Staying Wednesday night in Victorville, then the 3 of us will head to Laughlin Thursday morning. I'll be staying at The Flamingo until Sunday.

What is the minimal cost of the event, not including lodging, and is the 45 dollar event pass mandatory if you don't participate in the poker run?
