I'm finally going to just do it and ride to Sturgis next year and I'm thinking i should reserve lodging as soon as possible. checking online i noticed that some wont go that far in advance, some are not available for that week (assuming already reserved) or go from $75 a night to $250 a night for the rally. i don't need anything fancy, just a place to crash n shower.
anyone know of anything for around $100 a night and doesn't require a full week rental.
I've never been to Sturgis but I hear that it is best to book a room as soon as possible. I think that some might even do it while they are there. A couple of people from work decided to do the camping thing and paid for it this year, it rained big time on them. They said that there were portable showers there and they even had washers and dryers there. The camping thing would be the cheapest but you are also at the mercy of the weather. Personally, if I wanted to go, I would book a room as soon as possible just to be on the safe side. Good luck
I just when to Stugis first time, we called Tuesday and go rooms in Custer, for $100 per night, on Thursday when we arrived, we ask if we can keep the room until Sunday got it,
we stayed at Econlodge. other friends camp at Tilford Gulch outside of Stugis, for $20 a night, my understanding this year, the bikers didn't come 40% down, next year who knows
good luck, we had a good time.
