Since I got caught in the snow last June going over the Sonora Pass, the slight chance of rain going out there is no big deal! Staying at Stateline Wednesday and Harrahs Fri/Sat. 3 days!!
I'm leaving in the morning. The weather states that the rain will not be in the LA valley until tomorrow afternoon. So I should be in the desert and riding in the Sunshine.
Anybody from Vegas riding down on Friday and/or Saturday? I have Friday off,and since it's a relatively short hop (about 1 1/2 hours), I was planning to head down one or both days and just heading back in the evenings. If there are any rooms free (I found a few for cheap in Needles and Kingman) I might end up trying that, but wasn't planning on any heavy drinking. Or if I get lucky with some women that already have a room (don't tell my wife!).......
Cryptoboy we (4 of us) are leaving early Sat morning around 6 am. Planning on getting some breakfast in Laughlin before the festivities begin. Going down just for the day, you are welcome to come along. We usually meet up at the 7 - 11 at Horizon Rd and Boulder. Let me know if you want to travel with us and I'll PM the exact time.
Pic at Palm Springs earlier today and at Amboy on the way here. Had a few drinks a Mad Dog for ya'll.
I have friends staying in Mesquite and might meet them at Hoover dam tomorrow.
