There are cheap motels in needles and in bullhead city.... but may all be booked up.
And there is at least one camping area I know of near the dam

there is camping just on the north side of the bridge from The Riverside. That's what we used to do. Sleeping bag it back in the day. Some of the best times I had to be honest. You wont be the only one going this route.

I'm leaving early, 6am, friday morning. Gonna stay at a buddies place in Havasu. I guess there's alot going on in Havasu that weekend too. Can't beat free for a place to stay. This will be my first time in Laughlin. My brother works at the Aquarius, so I'll visit him too. He's a croupier I think. Dice table.

Festivities start a week from today and we hit the road the next morning.

Time to start the final checklist and go over the bike one more time.

3 more days till the start of my vacation. Will quickly make my way through New Mexico to Williams, AZ. Then gonna fart around there till the rally starts up. Been reading threads and threads and even the new bagger mag had a write up of some places to see while in the area. Man Thursday and Friday are gonna drag!
